The Documentation:
The cry for more and better documentation for the render part of messiah:studio had grown louder and louder back in the days of version 2.
Since I love to help people to develop their artistic skills, I am fully aware of the fact that tools alone aren't enough.
So I decided to invest as much time in writing a very deep and thorough user guide for the AoN:studio shaders with hundreds of renderings that show the effect of almost every parameter by example. Where appropriate, I have included videos to make the influence of parameter changes even more obvious.
I also rendered previews of all presets that come with AoN:studio for your convenience, since the little thumbnails that messiah is showing in the library are way too small to see details. The spheres to the right are some examples from that library.
The helpfile is almost 50mb in size and uses the windows helpfile format .chm (compressed html).
If you have the AoN:studio shaders installed, you will be able to just press the help button in the interface and the helpfile will open on the corresponding page.
But you can also simply double-click on the file in the Windows Explorer to view it.

The main topics of the
documentation are:
• Installation.
• Tutorials
• Common Controls
• Specific Controls
• Preset Library

Download it!
The following link will allow you to download the zipped helpfile. If you extract it to your messiah installation directory keeping the path intact (as noted in the ReadMe_AoN_Docs.txt file that comes with the download) it will work with the plugin if you install it later. You don't need to download it again.
• AoN_studio_Docs_1.0.zip (~50mb)
To play the videos that are embedded in the helpfile, you will need the free Quicktime player from Apple installed on your system.
